Aprilia RS 457 is scheduled to be launched in India in December 2023 in the general price range of ₹ 3,30,000 to ₹ 3,60,000. The bikes available so far like the RS 457 are the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R. Another bike like the RS 457 is the Yamaha YZF-R3 which will be launched in India in December 2023. Piaggio India has confirmed the Aprilia RS440 for our market and the bike should debut in the latter half of 2023. He said, the company is still maintaining silence about the details of this bike. However, this KTM RC 390 and Apache RR310-rival was recently spotted through spy photos that give a brief look at the styling of the cruiser.

Aprilia RS 457

Aprilia has finally unveiled the all-new RS 457 SuperSport. The bike has been planned and built at Aprilia’s base camp in Italy, while the manufacturing work will be done at Piaggio’s Indian production office in Baramati, Maharashtra. Sold in India as well as global trade regions, the RS 457 will be offered in three attractive liveries. The RS 457 is inspired by the larger RS 660, sporting a sleek and powerful look with the signature three-pot DRO headlamps and various features. The decals on the bike give it an energetic look and the titles are taken from the livery of Aprilia bike. The bike is a proper supersport, the riding triangle is sporty with a good level of committed stance.

Aprilia RS 457 Information

Aprilia has introduced another super sports model, named RS 457. This is the same bike which was recently seen testing in India. Discussing the bike parts, the RS 457 is suspended by a 41mm USD fork arrangement with 120mm movement at the front and a monoshock at the rear with 130mm movement. Both preloads are flexible. Slowing down the speed is taken care of by a 320 mm plate with a Bybre 4-cylinder outspread calliper at the front and a 220 mm circle with a single cylinder drifting calliper at the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels shod with 110/70 (F) and 150/60 (R) segment tyres.

Aprilia RS 457  Key Updates

This component will be standard with its rivals and as a result can be equipped with RS440 full-drive lighting, a TFT console and Bluetooth networking. It would be interesting to check whether Aprilia adds highlights like footing control framework and quickshifter to this item to match the KTM RC390. On the hardware bundle, the RS 457 comes with three riding modes, three degrees of foothold control that are switchable, double channel ABS and a quick shifter as options.

The RS 457 is powered by a 457 cc twin-chamber fluid-cooled motor that produces 47 bhp, putting it on par with the KTM RC 390. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is equipped with a ride-by-wire framework and a quick shifter, which is optional.

Mileage and eco-friendliness data of Aprilia RS 457 is not available yet. The mileage of Aprilia 660 was around 20.4 km/litre. The mileage of the Aprilia RS 457 will probably be more than 20.4 kmpl. More details about the mileage of Aprilia RS 457 will be revealed in the coming time. The 175 kg weight also means that it is only 3 kg more than the KTM RC 390.

The RS125’s top speed (mid speed with big carbs, etc.) is 100 mph, plus or minus 1~2 mph. Braking

As seen on test with this bike, will include topsy turvy front forks and a back mono-shock to deal with the suspension liabilities. The low-speed setup will include single plates on two wheels while the safety net should include double channel ABS. The RS 457 is highlighted by a topsy turvy front fork with a mono-shock at the rear. It has plate brakes on two closers and runs on 17-inch wheels. Other features include a computerized instrument console with Bluetooth network, 3-stage foot controls and ABS.

The new Aprilia RS440 will follow its larger counterparts, the RS660 and RSV4.
