Slowdown is handled by a double 300 cc plate at the front and a single 250 mm disc at the rear with double channel ABS. Underpinnings include a revised fork with a monoshock. Slow speed obstacles are dealt with by a dual 300 mm circle at the front and a single 250 mm circle at the rear. The Z900RS has spiral calipers, a surprising step up from the sportier Z900. Kawasaki Z900RS Rating & Reviews

While the Z900RS incorporates the same fundamental advancements as the Z900, the subframe has been essentially modified to ensure it has the exemplary performance that is required for a single-piece seat. Fuel range is 17 litres, the same as the Z900. The dual 300 mm front plate and 250 mm single back plate are additionally carried over from the Z900, with double channel ABS as standard. In keeping with the neo-retro theme of this machine, the Z900RS uses twin simple dials with slightly computerized insets, rather than the full-variety TFT run of the Z900. Although its styling is a hundred years old, features like all-powered lighting, shoe grips, and foothold controls make it a thoroughly modern (and safe) machine.
