Engine

The Street Triple Moto2, RS, and R all share the same Euro 5/BS6-compliant 765cc in-line 3-cylinder engine. However, they have been adjusted to achieve different power outputs. For example, the Moto2 and RS models produce 130PS at 12,000rpm (which is 7PS more than the previous-generation RS variant) and 80Nm at 9500rpm (1Nm more than the previous-generation RS bike). On the other hand, the Street Triple R generates 120PS at 12000rpm (2PS more) and 80Nm at 9500rpm (3Nm more). Both bikes are equipped with a 6-speed transmission that is enhanced by a slipper clutch and a standard bi-directional quickshifter. Additionally, there are variations in the hardware of these bikes.

Transmission

Although the bike now meets the Euro5/BS6 emission standards, its performance has been compromised. The current BS4 model available in India produces 113PS at 11,250rpm and 73Nm at 10,421rpm, coupled with a 6-speed transmission. Despite not reaching the level of the highest specification S variant, the bike does feature an updated exhaust system similar to the new-generation ‘RS’, resulting in a more resonant exhaust sound.

Design

The Street Triple S remains unchanged. You have the option to select from more than 60 authentic accessories that enhance performance, provide protection, offer comfort, and elevate style. Among these are newly designed scrolling LED indicators, mirrors and reservoirs crafted with precision, a belly pan and seat cowl that match in color, as well as a new flyscreen visor and a Triumph bi-directional quick-shifter. And if that isn’t sufficient, customers can also opt for an Arrow slip-on silencer, a tail tidy, internally wired heated grips, and paddock stand bobbins.
